This is a pic taken after the debut of my Kitsune costume at NDK. We went to dinner after the contest and on the way back I decided to sit down in front of the fountain...and then the lights decided to cooperate. Foxfire!

Costume won 1st place Master Craftmanship at NDK 2012
This is basically an OC kitsune based on the Japanese Myth (I did a 3 tailed version).

Costume includes:
2 under kimono/yukata (both fully lined cotton)
Hand dyed and painted silk over-kimono
Corseted obi made from black on black brocade.
Hand braided obijime cord
Hand made geta with designs burned into the wood.
Wonderflex kitsune mask (took 3 tries to get right)
Styled/dyed wig.
Hand dyed fox tails (they're not visible here but are white with purple tips)
